Here is a rom-com gay movie with a happy ending from way back when this genre wasn’t so prevalent or popular. It also deals with online dating, which has also gotten more popular in the recent 11 years since the making of this movie. So in a way, I think the movie was kinda ahead of its time and can still feel fresh and modern for new viewers. It has this urban style and a nice message and although it’s not my favourite movie, it definitely was very enjoyable to watch. Also, cute and hunky actors everywhere.

lol I’m writing about this movie for a romcom project for my English project and I’m on their website and I saw the tumblr logo so I assumed that meant they had a blog so I clicked on it but it just opened a post and I’m so amused that I’m actually making the post

do you think they get notifications when people post about them? I hope so. It would be pretty funny to imagine some intern monitoring the website for a crappy movie from 2011

anyway if anyone is curious about this movie it was enjoyable enough for me to watch it twice and choose to do a project on it but it’s also really bad

like not just bad in the quality sense like most romcoms are just not great it’s bad in the sense that there are SO MANY consent issues in different ways like in sexual situations but also in general life situations and it’s just kind of gross in that respect like morally I was cringing a lot and also the lack of communication is appalling

also the app that’s the center of the plot makes no sense at all

so I can’t say I would recommend it but it could definitely be worse and the boyfriend is kind of cute he reminds me of destiel

there was literally no purpose to this post but I wanted to procrastinate on my paper and I can’t really go on tumblr because I don’t want to spoil myself for Shadowhunters so I’m kind of suffering

Last night Rachel and I watched the worst movie ever on Netflix called eCupid. If you're in the mood for a far too long movie about a gay couple with some serious cheesiness (and literally only one female that appears on screen??) go watch it please and weep
