And that’s a wrap on 5 years of playing percussion with the El Camino Youth Symphony! I hope to continue music in college, and maybe even come back and solo one day with my orchestra! These 5 years have been filled with laughter and tears, good and bad memories. Hard work and practice to become the principal! Although I won’t miss the tiring packing and setting up with each concert, I will dearly miss all the amazing Europe tours and retreats, and all the friends I’ve made. Especially these two, who are so supportive and caring and some of the greatest people I’ve ever met. I love them with my entire heart, and I am so happy to have stuck out all these years. Leaving is bittersweet.
My boyfriend and I don't actually play ECYS, but we live for new ads and new stories! Choices is the knock off and it tries so hard to be what ECYS is and it is a colossal fail sometimes. Its also sexist as fuck.
