Remember when a bunch of us thought Ed would turn out to be kind of a jerk in the end like he was in the book? Yeah I'm so glad that turned out not to be true.

-Probably one of my favourite episodes of the series. And it was Tom-centric! Who knew I would grow to actually weirdly care about the mayor? Huh.
-So Ed was preparing to eventually become mayor? I’m with Gigi on this one…mayor Ed? All the official documents would be in Klingon or something.
-Speaking of documents in another language…WAS THAT CIRCULAR GALLIFREYAN??? Oh Ed, you wonderful, beautiful nerd. Just when I thought I couldn’t love you more!
-Finally having an idea of just what Ed gave up kind of makes what he did even more wonderful. He stood up for himself and what he wanted, despite familial pressure…I mean, three mayor Edward Denhams?!
-Gigi’s done with all her grad school forms…I was starting to think she would never finish. But…she’s not really going to grad school, is she? She just needs to find the guts to tell her brother that! I think her conversation with Tom sparked something in her.
-Is Gigi just gonna stay in Sanditon or what? She seems awfully sad to leave.
-Alas…no William Darcy cameo!
-Are we ever going to meet this elusive Sidney Parker?
-Whoever wrote this episode, A+ job! I loved it!

-Welcome to Sanditon ends next week and I think I might actually miss it a teeny bit. Not much as the Lizzie Bennet Diaries, obviously, but it was cute, and I grew to care about the characters more than I thought I would!

So I normally tune out on the Thursday fan compilations--I'll have them in the background while I do something else, you know. Anyway, I ended up watching this one and:
Ed was in it. And he talked about missing Clara as he heads to vidcon. And, oh, I dunno...he ate an eclair.
I feel like this is a nod to the fandom. And if it's not, I can just pretend it is, right? Because I am.
