I hate to neglect Margaret (that’s the last thing she needs, poor girl) but thesequestions are really best suited for Edmund. :^)
Thank you, dear! (And I’m sorry I’m such an inconsistent responder…)
Does your OC have any tattoos, piercings, mechanical parts, or other body modifications? What’s thestory behind them? He’s got a tattoo of his regiment’s badge on his chest –both as a sign of his dedication to his men, and as an identifier in case therest of his body is disfigured beyond recognition (btw, that was actually AThing among a number of soldiers back in the day). Also, his left leg wasshattered below the knee when he fell off his charger, so he’s got aprosthesis. Not mechanical, per se, but still artificial.
Does your OC have anyaddictions, allergies, diseases, illnesses, disorders, or disabilities? How does this affect their life? Ohhh boy, does he – PTSD, depression, mild brain damage (mostly affecting his speech and his motor skills), a missing eye, and a prosthetic leg. They make his day-to-day life a lot more difficult, as well as his social interactions (or lack thereof), plus he’s an unmarried peer – so you can imagine how much that affects him. :^/
What words would your OC use to define themselves? Useless, broken, damaged, and burdensome . . . but also intelligent and kind. Loyal. Determined. Passionate.
