The drive to Vegas Baby!
I drove to Boulder to get Liam then over to Denver to scoop up Hunter so we could start the drive to EDC Las Vegas. We were all working it and were driving my car to Vegas. We headed west into I-70 and up we drove into the Rocky Mountains. Driving through I-70 was amazing I had never been further than an hour outside of Denver so it was amazing views after amazing views. Just driving above the tree line and getting to see the incredible peaks of these still snow capped mountains were incredible. Driving through the canyon was amazing with the Colorado River running through it. Then as we came to Grand Junction it was beautiful mesas and dessert landscape. Huge shout out to Phil and his grandma at this point because she let me leave my nectar collector there and be a good citizen. Then we crossed the border and we were in Utah. The further we got into Utah the more it looked like mars with these weird rock formations that are deep desert reds. It was a beautiful sight to drive through but also nerve wrecking as there is not much around and no cell service, you are in the wild west at the liberty of strangers if something goes wrong. Fortunately for us everything went right and we got into the green rolling mountains of Utah. When I-70 ended we turned south and were heading for Vegas the sun was starting to set then but you could see the landscape changing back to desert. We drove through a sliver of Arizona and then we were in Nevada. Soon we rounded a corner and saw a sea of lights in the Valley and we Were in Vegas baby! Then I went to a medical dispensary got my goods and sat on the roof of my hotel getting lifted and watching the city of lights before me.
Side note when I woke up in the morning I was amazed, I had never seen cities in valleys surrounded by mountains.
