That’s all, folks
Edda read-along is over. A couple of people asked for stats. I can’t do post stats. . . I quickly realized that with tumblr’s weird tagging system, there is no way that I saw every single contribution. But we started with about 30 people and about 8 (that I know of) made it to the finish. So yay us!
For the people who responded to my survey (here) I’ll have the little gift I promised you in the mail within a few weeks. (I just saw it myself a few days ago and it’s awesome!) If you haven’t responded yet, I’d love it if you did. Please?
Most people seem interested in doing another read along next year and I got some great suggestions for how to make the next one better. So I’ll probably post something about that in a few months.
Cheers!

Read-along update
Just one more poem to go! I can’t believe we’ve gotten all the way through this thing! O_o To everyone who has participated, thank you! Especially to macpye and edderkopper, whose art and witty commentary has kept the tag lively. Anyone who has made it to the end (or made a sincere effort, I’m not picky) and is comfortable sharing their mailing address with me will get a tiny token of appreciation.
Quick survey! (open to everyone, not just participants/finishers)
1. Did you join the Edda read-along? Why/why not?
2. Did you finish? Why/why not?
3. What did you like most?
4. What could have been done better?
5. Should we do another one next year? If so, which text? (Prose Edda? Some sagas?)
If you are already following this blog, do me a favor and drop your answers in a fan mail. If not, reblogging to answer is fine. :D
Don’t forget to send me your address if you like presents!

Better late than never, sorry guys.
i have no clue what to draw for this week’s eddareadalong. that’s a novelty. in my defence, it’s a section of only 26 lines or so, so, hm.
