Eddie enjoyed a stroll through the park with his son Chris, it was good to keep him as active as he possibly could, and well with the sun shining he couldn’t help but like the idea of walking through a park-like they did when he was younger. When he spotted a lone woman with her dog sitting on a bench, he knew his son would want to say hello to the dog if allowed. With a friendly smile, he approached her. "Hey there, I'm Eddie and this is Christopher. Would you mind if he petted your dog?” He asked, gesturing to the space beside her on the bench that would probably be the easiest place for his son to sit and pet the animal. @daydrcamings

Eddie, a seasoned paramedic, rushed to the scene of an emergency where he encountered Zeke, who seemed worried and anxious. With a reassuring smile, Eddie approached her gently. "Hi, I'm Eddie. I'm here to help. What seems to be the problem?" he asked, his voice calm and soothing, hoping to alleviate Zeke's distress amidst the chaos of the situation. @fcdcdmcmories

Eddie was leisurely strolling through the farmer's market, admiring the vibrant array of fruits and vegetables, when he noticed someone browsing the stalls with keen interest. Intrigued, he approached with a friendly smile. "Hey there, finding everything alright?" Eddie asked, his tone warm and welcoming as he struck up a conversation with the stranger, curious to learn more about their interests in the market's offerings. @xtinyslip

Eddie wasn’t the type to put himself out there, especially given the new place and surroundings but he knew that in this new place, he’d need some new friends. Being at the Bar seemed the easiest way to try and put himself out there. "Hey, no, I’m not using that seat feel free to take it, trying my hand at being solo tonight” he mused casually as he took a sip from his beer with Christopher out at a new friend's place leaving their home far too quiet for him to stay there. @onespvrk

Every time Buck did something reckless during a save he was reminded just how little his best friend valued his life. How could he not understand just how important he’d been to both him and his son? Meeting the Buckleys explained a lot but still how many years had they been friends and looking after each other back that he still couldn’t get it through his thick skull. “WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO EVAN? What must I do to make you understand that you’re not expendable??! I get our job to save people but never when it could cost you your life! What would I tell Chris if I had to tell him that you got hurt on a job again and put in the hospital?? Or heaven forbid we had to watch you DIE. I swear I just want to-” Eddie was cut off when he felt Evan’s lips against his own. He’d never kissed a man before but this was hardly a random stranger against him cutting off his enraged words as he felt himself still until the other started pulling away he wrapped his hand around the other neck pulling him back in for a deep frustrated kiss ensuring he put every ounce of feeling into the kiss before pulling away. “Why did you kiss me Evan…and this isn’t the time for jokes. Eddie sought out Maddie almost immediately after kissing Evan after all if anyone would understand or help him understand what the hell just happened it would be her. “Evan kissed me…then I kissed him back” he mused walking past her to collapse on the couch with a groan how could he have fucked up so bad, Evan had been a guardian angel to the Diaz family and of course being who he was he fucked the whole thing up. The man had seen him at his worst and still stuck by his side, they’d fought, laughed, and almost died side by side it was understandable to build deep connections with those you worked with but…in truth, he hadn’t taken much time to look beyond their relationship because it was perfect just the way it was…wasn’t it? “How much did I fuck up?”

Eddie couldn’t believe his luck the moment he and his son arrived the city erupted into pure chaos. He'd been on a simple errand to grab some groceries and other things for their new home when everyone seemed to be having a very bad day. The Army medic in him went into overtime trying to assist anyone he could but currently, he was a couple of hands short when attempting to help the people trapped in the building before him. It wasn’t until he saw a familiar birthmarked face did he allowed himself a smile “Buck, Thank God you’re here I need your help” he mused knowing that there wasn’t anyone more he trusted to watch his back especially when the world was going to hell. “I’ve got two people who need to get free from this rubble but I can’t lift it and help get them out at the same time.” @lcvenderhcze
