Eddie Sutton (1936-2020) Physique: Average Build
Edward Eugene Sutton was an American college basketball coach. A native of Bucklin, Kansas, Sutton played college basketball at Oklahoma A&M and was a head coach at the high school, junior college, and college levels spanning six decades. During his college coaching career, Sutton is one of only eight NCAA Division I coaches to have had more than 800 career wins. From 1977 to 2005, Sutton's teams appeared in all but one NCAA Tournament. Sutton was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011 and Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020. On May 23, 2020, Sutton died in Tulsa at age 84.
A legendary college basketball coach, who was the first coach to take four different schools to the NCAA men's basketball tournament, but he is best known for a successful run at Oklahoma State where I first noticed him. I thought he was handsome, but look rather grumpy during games. Not that I am complaining. I like a stern man. He could SO order me to blow him and I'd feel compelled to do so.
