A/N: THANK YOU GIRLIE!!!!! C’mon let’s get this bread, lab partners is it!!!

Only Eddie could manage to get Richie interested in science.

He clicked through the dials on the microscope, seeing no change in the bacteria they were allegedly studying. His mouth twisted; he was running out of things to distract him, and Eddie was still going on.

“You know, Edward was really rude to Bella too,” he huffed. Richie glanced at his partner, seeing Eddie’s arms were crossed and his lips were pouted. He looked awfully cute, but good grief, Richie couldn’t take it anymore.

“Eds, I just don’t care about Twilight,” he said simply. Eddie huffed again, turning to face the chalkboard. “Eds-”

“My name’s not Eds, Richard,” he snapped. Richie groaned, sliding the microscope over and slumping face down on the table. Behind him, he could hear Mike and Bill snickering. “You broke this! I can’t see anything!”

“What are we even supposed to see, Eddie?” Richie questioned, a million times done with the day. Perhaps he’d see if Bev wanted to cut seventh period and smoke behind the library.

“If it’s an animal or plant cell. Look, animal,” he attempted to explain, and Richie whined as he lifted his head to humor his boyfriend and study the blurry shapes. “And then this one’s plant-”

“Can we play sexy teacher tonight? It’s Friday,” he asked, pulling his face away from the microscope. Eddie’s mouth twisted, his brow furrowing.

“No! You were very mean-”“Eddie, I just don’t care about Twilight-”“Well you don’t have to ignore me!”“You talk about that scene every single time we do a lab!”

Eddie turned away again, making Richie bury his face in his hands. He completed their worksheet silently, and the class dragged on. When the bell finally did ring, he didn’t move from his seat. Richie swung his backpack over his shoulder, biting the inside of his cheek as he contemplated waiting for Eddie. He loved his boyfriend, truly he did, but their petty arguments were getting old. The closer they came to graduation, the more he realized Eddie was right: They were too mature for the bicker-

“What if I trained you to like them?” Eddie asked. Richie’s brow rose. “Pavlov effect.” Turning on the stool, Eddie placed his hands on Richie’s hips, pulling him closer. His chin on Richie’s chest, Eddie looked up at him with his innocent doe eyes - arguably the sexiest part of him. “It’ll be an experiment. How many handjobs can you get during Twilight?”

“E-Eddie!”

A grin on his face, Eddie pecked Richie’s lips before sliding off of his seat and scurrying towards the door.

“I’m gonna be late! I’ll see you after school!”

Richie remained rooted to the spot in stunned silence.

Truly, he did love his boyfriend.
