richie is absolutely wholeheartedly completely against it at first. he takes one look at eddie’s amazon shopping cart and takes them off. he’s like “eds there is no fucking way i’m letting you put shoes on our dogs feet like they are tiny humans” and eddie is like “but their paws need protection...” and he buys them and then when they come in he puts them on all seven of them and richie comes home to their poms prancing around in their lil booties. and he whips his phone out so fast and they have an impromptu pom shoot and he posts it on every social media app and then insists that they need different kinds and then he eventually starts buying them little hats and ben offers to sew them sweaters and soon their poms are never not wearing clothes
