i am not the creator of this au, this is just my own spin on it :)

long ass list of info/headcanons abt the au below the cut
who's swapped with who?
these are the main characters who are swapped, other characters not listed here are swapped too. just because characters are swapped with each other doesn't mean their personalities are entirely swapped (ex: tw!tord isn't a copy of ew!edd, he still has some of his original traits as ew!tord)

kalashni is tord's pet iguana. i created her for the au, she doesn't exist in the original/eddsworld universe
headcanons
tord is addicted to bacon and snacks on it pretty often. he has at least one bag of bacon jerky on him at all times
patryck is more concerned about his hair than his face, unlike ew!matt. he dislikes it getting touched or risk it getting damaged ("watch the hair!")
paul is addicted to cigarettes and coffee (though this can also apply any version of paul lol). he is able to drink an entire cup of plain black coffee and still feel tired
patryck geniunely forgot edd existed for a while..... totally not because he suffered a bad concussion during an adventure with tord and paul which caused him some memory loss
paul works at a warehouse, patryck does electrical work, tord works with cars and sells car parts
patryck dreams of being able to become an airplane pilot one day
instead of an army, edd is part of a superhero/villain organization. he became obsessed with radiation due to the powers it gave him causing him to lose himself over time
edd's eyes were orignally brown, but they began to permanently glow green after he gained powers
paul gained a monster form after accidentally coming into contact with a radiation spill. his monster form is mostly dormant, but can be suddenly activated
(after "the-end") edd's powers became extremely unstable, half of his body is literally pure radiation
relationships
tord is about 2-3 years younger than paul and patryck. he's best friends with them and has a brother-like (figurative/non biological) relationship with them
tord and edd have known each other the longest, they were naturally extremely closes with each other
tord met paul and patryck by luck when searching for new roommates for his house. they naturally clicked with each other and got along very fast
tord had a one-sided crush on edd before the events of "the end"
paul and patryck are lowkey in a relationship but they're pretty casual about it. they still refer to each other as "my best friend" or "my comrade"
(before "the end") edd wasn't as close with paul and patryck compared to how he was with tord, but he still saw them as good friends and got along well
paul was the first to notice edd's behavior change over time, and he had a bad feeling about him. he ignored his gut feeling up until the events of "the end"
(after "the end") everyone distrusts edd and prefers to keep their distance from him. tord was the most hurt and spiteful. he still misses edd deep down, but he uses his hatred to try to push his thoughts about him away. he frequently gets dreams about edd
i personally ship paultryck, so i like referencing the ship in my version of the au. same goes for tordedd. the ships aren't really a "canon" part of the au, so just interpret their relationships however you want
green leader (hero/villain organization???)
instead of an army, edd takes control over a "hero/villain organization" (placeholder name, i cant think of anything else to call it atm)
all individuals part of the hero league has a power of some kind (ex: edd w/ radiation, matt w/ vampirism, tom w/ being a monster)
everyone part of the hero league has to wear an outfit that includes the logo and a mask over their eyes, but they aren't restricted to strict uniforms. their outfits can reflect their own powers/personalities
after edd takes over, he remakes the logo to reflect back to himself
