I have chosen to interpret the ending of Jessica Jones thusly.

Jessica continues her kick-ass, crime-fighting ways with a wizened Malcolm Ducasse and contented Eddy Costa on her side.

Malcolm and Brianna Gelden love each other deeply and are supportive of one another. They have many babies, whose designated sitter is Vido Arocho from upstairs.

Gillian stays on board with Alias Investigations because she is amazing, and ultimately ends up the richest and happiest of them all.

Over the course of a few years, Erik Gelden works his way back into Jessica’s heart by doing good and making the world a kinder, less violent place.

Meanwhile, Jeryn Hogarth dies alone and bitter, but ultimately her legal contributions to the civil rights of enhanced people have a positive and lasting effect on the world. Not that she’d particularly care.
