PRIVILEGED TO PLAY WITH KINGS – RAINGAD TO SHARE STAGE WITH EDEM, SARKODIE, OBRAFOUR AND OTHER STARS
One of the most budding arts of the music industry in Ghana and Africa, Raingad who is real named Mawutor James is set to join a mega list of legendary Ghanaian musicians at this year’s EdemFest which comes off at Aborigines Beach Resort in Keta in the Volta Region.
Raingad, the Junction hitmaker who belongs to the Onward Force Africa Record Label, is set to perform and thrill his fans who will be present at the event which is one of the biggest music fests organize by individual musicians.
On bill are artist like Edem himself, Sarkodie who happens to be the winner of this year’s BET’s International Flow Award, the legendary Obrafour and other big names of the music game in Ghana. Other young and promising artists will also perform on that night of bliss and glamour.
Speaking to Typical Black Magazines reporter, Akakpo Elikem Kwabla, the Junction hitmaker and a couple times winner of the Standout Artist of the Month Award stated that he sees this as a big inspiration for him as it also beckons him to celebrate wide the works of Edem. Raingad added that coming out as a musician from the Volta Region he respects Edem and his brand coming to place how challenging it is to come out to the limelight of music in Ghana with the Ewe language. Thus, he respects and celebrates Edem for all he’s been through and still going through and also gives him much praise for bringing together such big names on one stage in the Volta Region.
Raingad recently came out with a banger titled Title Vexing and his Junction song is still enjoying massive airplay all around. Raingad is currently in the news as the latest Ghanaian singjay to earn a collabo with American Billboard Chart topping music group, Big Mountain.
