My blog is four years old today. I'm amazed lol. Thanks for following me everybody :)
I've got 99 cosplays...
And not a one of them done lol. I'm trying to decide what to do next. If you have any ideas, I'm open to suggestions. These are the ones I'm pondering- Simca the swallow- Air Gear Sheryl Nome (galactic fairy) Macross Frontier Yuuko (XXXHOLiC artbook kimono) Mad Moxxi (red version) Borderlands Elizabeth (short hair version) bioshock infinite Lightning returns (Aeriths dress or Midnight Mauve) Astrid- how to train your dragon 2 Asami- Legend of Korra FF14 white mage And quite a few others... more than I feel the need to list... When sending me suggestions, Keep in mind that I'm a curvy gal who doesn't want to show off her stomach. I'm comfy showing off pretty much anything else tho ;)
My order from arda wigs came in today. (Pure white fringe bangs for Rouge cosplay & ginger blond wefts to add to my miss frizzle wig for color accuracy) I'll post pix once I've got them ready.
CosPUNK- alternative histories spin on cosplay...
So, I'm working on a panel for a steampunk con in a few months called "CosPUNK 101- Alternative history & Cosplay" and I was wondering if anyone on tumblr wanted to assist me in my research. I'm looking for people who are into steampunk and/or cosplay who are willing to answer three simple questions for me about their views on steampunk in cosplay. The only personal info I may use for the class to see is your online alias, and that's only if you allow me to. I'm looking for positive & negative views here, not just a raygun of sunshine shot up my butt praising the concept. Whatever your view on this is, I want to hear it... I'll also be at Animazement (Raleigh NC, May 23rd & 24th 2014) hoping to do a few short interviews with random people that want to participate.
