SIX YEARS. it’s been six years and she’s still the first thing he thinks of when he wakes up, every damn morning. sometimes they’re good thoughts , like how inspirational and strong she used to be but, most of the time, they were hurtful — like how he still hadn’t forgiven himself for LEAVING her behind , knowing she would’ve never left him. or the fact that he fought by her side day after day and now she was gone and he never had the chance to tell her that —-
no. bellamy refuses to finish his thought as he makes his way into the island , murphy and monty’s banter and the latter’s request for him to step in falling on deaf ears. they need supplies , to stick to the task at hand and , frankly , he would’ve thought the two of them would’ve learned to get along by now. once they’re finally in the lab, bellamy pokes his head through the door, a hand lifting behind himself to tell the others to WAIT while he makes sure it’s safe. “ hello? “ he calls out , making sure it’s empty — after all this time, he still hopes to find someone alive other than them. a part of him still hopes he’ll see his sister again, too. “ is anyone here? “ bellamy calls once more before pushing the door open for the others to join him.
