Quick Notes: Chapter 126
Let’s go!
Hey, it’s the bunny suit from the costume thing! Those were fun arcs. I mean to read, not for Homura.
I’m not a big fan of this reaction joke.
Xenolith treats being dead as “reasons”.
I’m not sure you can patent teaching subjects. You can publish them, but I don’t know about patenting them.
Don’t know how I feel about Creed catching feelings for Homura. It’s going to be weird when he finds out about Jesse knowing Homura. (Or not, who knows.)
“Unlike you, we don’t kill for a reason.” Fair point. Counterpoint: your boss gave “various traffic violations” as a reason to kill Elsie.
Homura is definitely thanking Gowen and Hyoga for helping her. I’m just not sure that Creed should be thanked as well. Yes, he helped save her, but he also captured her in the first place. Not that it really matters...
“I lost Mimi... My friend...” Previously on Edens Zero...
Also, we know Mora is a villain because, despite everything he’s done up to this point and not even being present now, he’s responsible for a little girl crying. Don’t think I forgot about Glue Boy.
“We can continue this fight some other time. Or is it the kiss you wish to continue?” Jelsie fans.
I kind of feel for Elsie. Imagine your childhood fiance blaming you for the political failings of your homeland. Then he becomes a cop, vows to arrest you, and calls himself “Justice” of all things.
Knowing what we know about Kris and Kleene explains a bit too much.
The heck is O-Tech and why does it need so many “human guinea pigs”?
I’m honestly not sure how Mashima is ever going to top a villain who tricked a character into blowing up a planet and performed lumberjack surgery in front of his “patient’s” sister.
Not to mention, he’s likely also responsible for Kleene’s emotional repressor. Dr. Muller’s on another level of evil.
Shout out to me at chapter 114, where I figured that whatever happened with Kris and Kleene was going to be bad and chided Mora for killing Mimi. Crazy how that works... innit?
Whatever. See you!
