The Edge Games

@matthiasiam I have suggestions for the highly anticipated Edge Games! I hope you see this!

Competition:

The Edge Games should be a week long competition series where Team Edge recreates the top 7 video challenges (as ranked by views and/or likes). Each competition should be considerably more difficult with higher steaks at play. Perhaps these higher steaks can be voted on by the audience.

Point Bank:

As competitors have taken “Points to the Edge Games” they should be used for some sort of advantage. Advantages can include life lines such as Phone a Friend, Hint, Skip, etc. or to enforce a mini challenge for the other members throughout the whole week or the current challenge. Different life lines can cost a different number of points. Immunity, “Over the Edge”, and substitutions should cost the most points, as they give the most advantage. Perhaps substitutions can be other youtubers.

“Over the Edge”

This is something that can be enforced by anyone on anyone. This advantage should be anything that severely disadvantages one other competitor. To disadvantage both, more points will be used. Again, this advantage should cost a high number of points to use, therefore making this a desirable but costly advantage, because…

Winning:

The winner of the Edge Games is the competitor who has the most points in their Point Bank by the end. The winner of each individual challenge of Edge Games should be awarded a point as per normal. The loss and gain of points will be balanced between advantage usage and competition completion.

The prize should be long lasting. Maybe something physical such as an Edge Trophy or crown. Alternatively or additionally, the following suggestions can serve as prize(s):

Full bragging rights until the next Edge Games Recognition as champion in the title sequence Advantages for every challenge thereafter Extra points for the next Edge Games Immunity to punishments in every challenge thereafter
