   Rosemary noticed her daughter giggling and waving at someone. As a result, she looks over to the person as well. ❝Can you say hello to her darling?❞ The baby looks up to her mother for a moment before softly saying hi.

He all but chases after the chaste kiss in a half-conscious state, a feathery hum being the first sound that escapes from his throat before it’s her voice that truly sparks life back into him.

“Yeah, no, I was just..” A mumble croaks out, drenched in a thick, syrupy layer of sleep. “I was just resting my eyes.” The mattress strains with a creak under them as he stirs, an arm moving to wrap around her by nearly a natural instinct at this point. Falling back into a resting state, he hasn’t yet opened his eyes but even exhaustion can’t keep him from continuing to speak,  “Is it mornin’? If this is about the egg McMuffins, they..they have breakfast all day now, don’t worry about it.”
