That squirrel looks sick, or something.

I had no clue what this animal was, and I certainly didn’t expect to find it in the city. It was my second day or so with my new camera/lens combo (which might explain the crappy picture, ahem) and as soon I heard a noise in a tree, I tried to locate what I thought was going to be a squirrel.

It still amazes me that in a relatively big city like Stuttgart, you can find so much wildlife, but of course when you learn about it, it is not that surprising – it is just that we don’t expect wild animals to be in the city, and thus, we ignore them. So keep your eyes and ears open, and yourself attentive, and you may encounter little rascals like this one. And of course lots of beautiful birds, but that’s a lesson for another day.
