Physical Therapy
Although I’m only 25 years young, I feel like a curmudgeonly old person with all these aches and pains and derp joints. So about a year ago one of my knees finally just gave up on life and started to randomly take me out on stairs. At first it was clicking and just being generally annoying. Then the first winter after it started clicking I found out the cold made my knee not work at all. I’d have to half step up stairs the whole time.
I ended up going to physical therapy and getting some exercises to complete to make my knees and legs stronger. I’ve been doing them on and off, but not enough to actually help, so I really need to buckle down. It’s gotten better to the point where it doesn’t just go out on me anymore, back to only the clicking.
Now I’ve got a weird hip/back issue that makes it difficult for me to bend or move around, and also I can never sneeze lol! (If I sneeze without bracing my whole body, I look like a crazy rag doll person). I haven’t gone back to have that checked out, it gets better and worse back and forth, but for the most part I’m thinking it’s because of my sedentary work style and home life. The more I move around the better I start to feel, so that’s a plus!
If anyone wants some knee PT exercises, feel free to hit me up and I can post them.
Update: So turns out, I looked up my weird back pain and found some information about certain people reacting to edibles in such a way. No more edibles for me! (Or at least, not a lot? Anyone else experience weird things like that?)
