It’s his fault, Iris argues. She shouldn’t have to move from her spot just because some tall, lanky jerk needs more space for his too-long limbs. He should have reserved a seat to his preference like the rest of the passengers.

And yeah, maybe there could have been a better way of handling the situation rather than plainly plopping herself into his lap after he refused to move, but he clearly instigated her reaction. 

“I hope you’re happy with yourself,” Iris mumbles, arms crossed and fidgeting to find any part of him that is comfortable to rest against. Which, in all honesty, isn’t so hard once she’s off his bony knees.

He clears his throat behind her and shifts in his - no, her seat. “Could you maybe not do that?”

“Hey,” she glares over her shoulder at him. “If you’re allowed to get comfortable in my spot, then I should be allowed the same luxury.” Just as she adjusts herself simply to annoy him this time, the unmistakable hardness under her bum makes her freeze. Oh. Oh. She’s certain that her face might actually set to flame. “I think I’m okay now.”

“Heh. Well, now that parts of us are acquainted, I’m Barry Allen.”

Accidentally gets lost in a corn maze: Jeff, because when they can’t decide whether to turn right or left, he gets all stubborn and challenges her to see who gets to the exit first. he can never win.

Tells spooky stories to scare the other: Jeff but Annie’s better at it

Collects cool-looking leaves: Annie with the intention to scrapbook

hehe you should read my twitter from last night. my goodness. I was a mess.

But seriously, she is my absolute favorite character and although they changed her backstory, she’s still as sassy and caring in the book. My favorite part was when she completely showed her vulnerability to Thomas. I was just a mess. In my opinion, she’s one of the most well-developed characters in the film in terms of characterization.

I just–I love her so much, claryssa. So so much. And the girls I was sitting next to also thought she was so cute and such a fucking badass whenever she was saving Thomas’ ass. And omg we see her in pain and it’s the saddest thing I’ve seen. Rosa Salazar is Brenda. I can think of no other person as Brenda anymore. Gone are the days where I edit videos using other actresses.
