I told @sparrow-the-jester aka the dopest that I would make a post about my ideas for future lost boys edits so here it is I suppose. I might reblog this with more ideas later. Please reply or reblog with your thoughts! I was nervous about making another one after my edit to The Phoenix by Fallout Boy bc I don’t wanna like mess it up but I’ve also had some ideas in my cranium for a hot minute. (The minute was very hot, broiling even) I also want to make an edit to the movie bc it’s one of my favorite movies.

Not Ok by 5SOS

I think this is one of the ones I’m most enthused abt. Can we truly say any single person in the lost boys is ok? No, I think not. I feel like this would work from David, Star, or Michael’s perspective because I think in a way David brings out the darker sides of Star and Michael in a sense and the case could be made for the reverse. Also the bite the apple line might be too on the nose but who cares it’s my nose and I’m fine with this line being on it. It’s literally the temptation of following through and becoming a vampire and chafing and David is the one holding out the apple/bottle. There’s a grand total of three 5SOS songs I listen to and this is one of them.

I don’t know it the pics are in the right order but any hoot. This is rlly on the nose even more so but I feel like this is rlly self explanatory and it doesn’t just fit David and the boys bc of it being a song abt Dracula but I think the lines actually fit. As someone who saw the show, the view was in fact spectacular.

One might say only marko fell down when the sun came up but that would be mean. Don’t Threaten Me With a Good Time by Panic! At the disco.

I don’t doubt that the boys got up to many a shenanigan between belong to someone and Michael waking up and this could maybe represent that. Who doesn’t love a good ol shenanigan

I love this band for starters. I do not speak Italian I just enjoy this song immensely and I felt that the English translation of the lyrics showed that the words rlly match David’s character. He moves freely, the dressed like a nightmare line I think matches depending on how you look at it, he calls you idol in the sense that he lifts you up and makes you feel special like he does with star and Michael (not to say he doesn’t have actually feelings towards them which I do believe he does I’m very team 96060, throuple from hell) please listen to this song though it’s very good trust me!

Honorable mention to Howl by Florence + The Machine. This is honorable mention bc I feel this would function better as an animatic for the characters just based on clip availability as I’m only using clips released by the musical’s YouTube page. But I also can’t draw! Pls lmk what you think or give me more ideas, this is not a post where I’m saying I’m gonna do all these, they are just ideas!

Also: LJ Benet’s father liked my lost boys edit on Instagram and I just think that’s rlly neat
