I’ve thought about the logistics of how the exhaust organ produces sound while being a sewage system, which is a bit convoluted (basically I’m going with: it’s a normal pipe organ (or as normal as a sewage system instrument thing can get) but with giant sewage pipes tacked to it, and the bellows, air reservoirs, and windchests also utilize the sewage air), but now I am thinking of the materials it would be made of. No matter what kind of weird action the exhaust organ has, it should of course still use pneumatics. Many parts of the organ like the pneumatics are made with leather which degrades and needs to be replaced after about 60 years, but leather doesn’t exist so I can imagine silk being used instead, and would probably last much longer.
The Exhaust organ probably does not have wooden pipes. Other than that, organ pipes uses metal and.. realistically the exhaust organ would not only get really rusty and shit (which is already it’s current state) it would also get *really* out of tune from the constant heat and humid air unless Phantom is frequently maintaining it, but that would be super tedious. There could also be some magic going on or the exhaust organ is not built out of the same type of metal humans use idk.. I was also thinking of old bones being used for the manual keys like how ivory was used for pianos… thinking thinking…

She inhaled deeply that warm smoke that emanated from the incenses surrounding the statue along with the smell of burning oil from the lamps that glowed around her. Slowly and gradually, Helen allowed it to ease her senses of body and mind into a state of numbness, her eyes opening, rolling upwards then closing again, whilst her feet remained firmly planted on the marble floor beneath. Her blood was running warm, eyelids withdrawing halfway only to meet again lazily. The darkness soon took the shape of her, consort of her father, goddess of things that Helen had always been faulty of. It was only after it was gone that she was able to notice her. Regaining awareness of her surroundings, she turned to look at Cersei, her interlocutor; glowing with jewelry as befitted women of their rank, but Helen’s face showed her no amity once she listened to her words.
‘You must be mad, to speak such things before her image, to me of all people’, she alerted her in a murmur, ‘the gods may not always hear us, but sometimes they make you wish they never did’.

Who asks the other on dates: Kazuichi! He’s pretty needy (aww my shark baby is insecure) Gundam is too shy, but if Kazuichi’s overworking or somehow not very perky, he’ll ask in the most roundabout way possible XD
Who is the bigger cuddler: Kazuichi! Gundam keeps acting like he’s uncomfortable with hugs, but actually he loves it (and Kazuichi knows that)
Who gets drunk the fastest: Both of them get inebriated very quickly. They once both tried getting each other drunk secretly hoping that they’d get to see each other being cute, but in the end they both had nasty hangovers and remembered nothing of each other’s behaviour (they were making out in the bar and the bouncers had to throw them out)
Who initiates holding hands more often: Gundam (it’s his favorite way of showing affection when they’re in public – he’ll just discreetly take Kazuichi’s hand and turn red :3
Who remembers anniversaries: Kazuichi is not the best with dates, but he makes sure he remembers by writing on sticky notes and calendars. He loves countdowns! But Gundam would remember even without all the reminders around
Who gets sick more: Kazuichi? Gundam doesn’t fall sick very often but when he does he’ll have to stay in bed for at least a week. Kazuichi has a hard time taking care of the animals in his stead, and Gundam can’t do a thing with machines; but they both nurse each other back to full health.
Who is weak to the puppy eyes: Gundam. He can’t refuse Kazuichi anything.
Who gets more jealous: Kazuichi Kazuichi Kazuichi. He gets jealous at the smallest things (even about things like a shopkeeper showering love on Gundam’s hamsters). But on the rare occasion that someone’s chatting up Kazuichi, Gundam does get jelly~
Who is more protective: They both are – Gundam thinks he feels it more strongly but the feeling is mutual
Who tries to get flirty: haha Kazuichi. He loves seeing Gundam’s face turn into a blushing mess.
Who kills the spider: Are you kidding? Gundam would never let it happen. He’d lovingly coax it onto his palm, and place it outside in the garden. Kazuichi sulks because he wants to be treated like that all the time XD
Who gets the other presents: Kazuichi keeps bringing animal plushies home, and just makes stuff that Gundam and his animals might like himself. Gundam tries to buy Kazuichi machine parts, but he has no idea what to get so he ends up buying a bag of all kinds of tools Kazuichi may/may not need :)
Who loves action movies: Kazuichi. Gundam isn’t big on them but he does enjoy airing his views on a particularly intense car chase scene.
Who loves sappy romantic movies: Also Kazuichi. Being with Gundam somehow makes his taste for such films go off the charts. Gundam sometimes wonders if this is Kazuichi’s indirect way of saying that they should be a more lovey-dovey couple, but Kazuichi assures him it’s fine.
Who orders the food at restaurants: Kazuichi lets Gundam choose because he’s not fond of going through menus. But he will protest if Gundam tries to order something exotic (which may or may not be to their taste) just because the name impressed his boyfriend.
Who tries to make up first after arguments: Both are very stubborn and are very reluctant to come clean, but the moment one of them tries to patch up, the other will cut in and try to apologize first (they don’t want to make the other say sorry first lol)
Finds ideas for Halloween costumes: Gundam. He simply loves dressing up and taking a carved pumpkin with them.
Proposes to take a relaxing bath together: Kazuichi – just that he’s almost always got ulterior motives behind the ‘relaxing’ bath. He goes on asking till Gundam gives in ;)
Who cries at sad movies: Kazuichi cries openly, but if it’s a movie about animals…Gundam’s scarf will be sopping wet by the credits :)
Who skips meals for desserts: None of them really skip meals, but if the dessert is particularly tempting Kazuichi always tries to eat it first. Gundam always tells him off for that...
Who wakes up later: Gundam, because Kazuichi is a very early riser
Who is the workaholic: Both are pretty absorbed by what they do. Depending on the situation they may put it aside to spend time with the other instead (Kazuichi would do it on a whim, but Gundam would only put off looking after his animals if something happens to Kazuichi)
Who is messier: In general, Kazuichi. His tools and knick-knacks are strewn everywhere. But he’s okay with cleaning up his stuff and even tidying up Gundam’s room once in a while.
Who enjoys staying indoors: Gundam. He likes watching Kazuichi move around the house in their free time.
Who enjoys going outdoors: Kazuichi of course – he’s the reason Gundam ever gets the opportunity to socialize (not that he wants to XD
Who stays up late: Mostly Kazuichi, but Gundam sometimes stays up to give his hamsters company (they’re nocturnal after all)
Who snores: Neither? But Kazuichi is more restless in his sleep.
Who spends more: Kazuichi spends a lot more on Gundam (it’s the sum total of a lot of small things he’s bought for him). Gundam prefers to buy fewer and more valuable gifts.
Who confessed first: If Sonia’s in the AU, then Gundam confessed first. Otherwise Kazuichi.
Who eats the last part of pie/cake: Kazuichi. Gundam leaves it for him on purpose, but Kazuichi asks “Are you SURE you don’t want it?” before finally eating it
Who sends sappy messages: Kazuichi. Gundam’s inbox is crammed full of corny messages he’s scared might get his coworkers to tease him.
Who responds faster to a call: Gundam. Whenever he gets a call from Kazuichi he fears that his boyfriend is unhappy/sick/afraid and tries to call back (if he can’t return)
Who enjoys rollercoasters: None of them are very fond of it. But Kazuichi made it crystal clear that if he was ever made to ride them, they were breaking up (lol)
Who stares at the other more: Kazuichi. But Gundam is the one who stays up longer watching Kazuichi sleeping face (and feeling like he’s doing something wrong aww)
Who sings in the shower: Kazuichi. Gundam isn’t big on singing, and definitely not on Kazuichi’s singing – but he finds Kazuichi’s tone-deaf singing cute
Who cooks better: Gundam learnt how to cook nicely (seeing as his mom’s food was terrible) but Kazuichi is eager to get better
Who anticipates quality time more: Gundam. He’s so cute :3
Who hauls in the groceries: Kazuichi. He’s got the muscle haha
Who dozes off faster: Kazuichi. He gets fewer hours of sleep; which leads to his frequent cat naps
Who takes more pictures: Gundam’s not good with technology so Kazuichi snaps the photos, but he treasures even the blurry ones even more than Kazuichi
Who misses the other more: Both do. Kazuichi tends to pine until they are together again, but while Gundam copes better he feels like making up for lost time together as soon as they meet again.
Who tells the other they love them more often: Kazuichi. Definitely. Gundam just can’t be honest :3

omg on my walk tonight while i was smoking/vaping this big fuckin jacked up truck that reeked of diesel went past me with their high beams super slow and then once they were next to me/passing me they immediately went SO fast and it was SO loud and THEN THEY TURNED AROUND and drove by SO fast and then didnt even stop at the stop sign and it was still so loud even after they turned and went down the other road and i was so scared like as soon as they came back and sped by at like 80 or some shit i literally thought i was gonna get taunted and harrassed if not kidnapped or shot lmao cuz theres no police in my town and its full of trump loving rednecks and you know what people do at night in my town? they get drunk and just drive around town. thats literally it. and my favorite hoodie that i always wear us my icp fuck your rebel flag one so that doesnt sit well with all the hick ass trumpies in my town lmfao. and like they probably cant tell if im a teenage boy or a young woman by looking at me when passing by so they might not catcall me they might just shoot me lmao so obviously i immediately think about that and get scared like AS SOON as they atarted turning around. and after they passed again and turned away i was afraid theyd come back but they didnt and i immediately turned around and walked home so fucking fast. i finished my weed vape tho but i turned off my regular vape haha.
but anyway i was thinking SHIT im wearing my lightup shoes and you can see them from far away and if i have to run and hide from the truck theyll see the lights thru the woods! and it takes too long to cycle thru to turn them off, but i cant just take them off and leave them cuz i love them but also it would still hint where i went! so i immediately turned off my music and turned off my shoe lights just to be safe cuz i was literally scared lmao and it was dark and rainy so i was like omg is this the night where i finally get attacked by a republican redneck man while minding my own business? but yeah i was thinking maybe i should walk with my shoe lights on the last setting where it slowly cycles thru all the colors from now on on my walks (i would always just put it on red with is the first one cuz its easier on the eyes than all the others) in case i have to turn them off fast and then just use my phone light instead cuz its easier and faster to turn off.
