lyresungâ:
Menelaus raises his brows at Helen. âAnd youâre excellent at distracting me from work,â he says. He traces his fingers along her legs as she talks. âThatâs what I seek,â he agrees. âA proud legacy for Sparta. For us, and our children, when we have them.â And he hopes thatâs soon.Â
His answer made her smile. There was more ambition in him than one might expect from Agamemnonâs little brother, and Helen was more than willing to feed him more of it. Ruling Sparta had always been her fate, even with all the siblings that could have disputed the throne if they had wanted to, and her king could be no different from her with this zeal for greatness. âYou make me proud, my loveâ, she told him, leaning forward to kiss him. âFor that I make you a promise: before our next harvest, I shall be carrying your childâ.
lyresungâ:
Itâs hard to say if the slap surprises Menelaus or not, since it hardly earns a response like he thinks she means it to. Perhaps a slap is enough to startle some shaking young man with the audacity to approach Helen thinking he will be the one to win her favor and a place in her bed, but Menelaus is no such man. Her words are a challenge, and one he is happy to rise to the occasion to meet. He catches her wrist to stop her from slapping him again, and pushes her against the mattress. He pins her wrists to the bed and pushes her legs apart with his knees to pin them apart too. She will give in eventually, heâs fairly certain of that. Helen is driven by her passions, and weak for them. He leans over her so their lips are nearly touching before he pulls back enough that she canât reach his lips with hers. âYou have the same needs that I do that will not be so readily extinguished,â he says, a sly smile on his face. âYou wish for satisfaction? A lover to give power to?â His smile widens. âNo. If you want pleasure you will have to beg for it, wife.â
Oh, now sheâd unleashed the beast. Helenâs face gleamed with enthusiasm when he pushed her and held her down, but when her eyes caught the motion as he leaned over her, she had anticipated that he would enter her right in that moment, roughly and completely without warning, but he chose to tease her instead. âHmmâ, she grumbled, twisting in frustration. This little trick got him the effect he wanted, but her resources hadnât ended yet. She couldnât play with his body with her hands pinned down, but she could play with his imagination still. Helen looked into his face, then her gaze leisurely lowered, watching his chest dripping with sweat above hers, his stomach - toned from military practice - heaving with his breath, and further down she could see his cock, fully hard and red at the top, so ready for her that she could almost feel it. âI want you in my mouthâ, she exhaled the words, aiming the hot air into his neck. âI want you in my assâ, Helen lifted her hips as she spoke, grinding against him. âI want you in my cuntâ. With that, she forcefully pulled one of her wrists out of his grasp, but instead of slapping him, she took her hand to cup one side of his face and pushed her thumb into his mouth. âForget that Iâm your wife and fuck me like Iâm your whoreâ. Â
Oh fuck so Iâve been reading this book about Helen of Troy that for reasons I wonât elaborate on I stole from my elementary school library in the third grade and the premise is that itâs the Trojan war from Helenâs perspective which is both fun and horrifying etc. Etc. But whatâs really intriguing is how hard the author worked within the narrative to maintain Helenâs innocence. Nothing in the entire book is directly Helenâs fault - in this version, Aphrodite keeps her from being happy with Menelaus, running away is Parisâs idea, Helen struggles to relate to and rule her people because her parents refused to teach her their religion and their cultural traditions and so on but what I would love. What I would LOVE is to see a Helen that is for the entire course of her story fully aware of what she is doing, and also culpable at least for some of it. I want to see a Helen who is half a god and acts like it, whoâs calculating and ruthless in the pursuit of her own pleasure. Who stands on top of the walls of Troy and plans her next move. Who wields her beauty like a weapon rather than letting others use it against her. Who asks the gods for what she wants rather than the reverse. I want to see Helenâs hubris, that relentless pursuit of a godlike life in the midst of mortality, despite what it does to her and what it does to the people around her.
i admire the betta fish because i also am beautiful and want to fight everyone
also people keep giving me inadequate living conditions and expect me to flourish in it without complaint
