For the past few days Aurelius had been a mess. That was due to how he left things with Edith the last time they spoke. It was digging away at him because of what he said. She had punched him in response. He needed to apologise. “Edie,” he announced gently grabbing onto her shoulder. “Look, we need to talk about the last time. My behaviour... it was the alcohol... I’m so sorry for dropping that on you so soon.”
