Aster got up to leave and Edith came over to her and gave her a hug.

EDITH- "You look beautiful sweetie. I hope you remember to tell Erin. I don't want her to think I was a horrible mother."

ASTER- "I will tell her. I really have to go now."

With that Aster turned and ran from the room and out to the car where Alexis was waiting for her. She was silent all the way home.

Aster sat there for a moment and let it all soak in. She looked at the woman across from her, realizing that this entire story could be all a lie, but she wanted to give her peace...

ASTER- "Yes, Edith. I will tell Erin. So where does your daughter Ellen live now?"

EDITH- "She has the old house. She lives there in Willow Creek. With her cat. She comes and sees me every week. I am glad you came to see me. You will come back again, right?

ASTER- "Sure Edith. I will come and see you.

EDITH- "It all happened so long ago. My life is done, and now I am going to die. I wanted you to know everything. I felt bad for leaving you Erin. I want you to know I didn't want to but I had to protect your sister."

ASTER- "I am Aster, Edith.

EDITH- "Yes, then you tell Erin. You tell her I didn't mean to abandon her. Will you tell her?"

Aster was taken back by what Edith was saying. It all made no sense to her. She wasn't sure how much of what she said was true, or made up in her mind. But she wanted to get to the death of Beau Bloom...

ASTER- "You told me that you didn't kill your husband."

EDITH- "No, there was no way.  I mean I was upset because he wanted to move to Windenburg.  You know his lover lived there. That is why I didn't want to go, but I didn't kill him. I told everyone I did."

ASTER- "To protect Erin, right?"

EDITH- "Why did Erin need protection. No I told everyone that I poisoned him to protect my Ellen."

ASTER- "So Erin didn't kill him, Ellen did?"

EDITH- "Erin was smart, but she wasn't that smart, and she loved Beau, she thought he was her father.  I never told her different. No Ellen hated Beau. Ellen said he raped her. I don't know if he did, I mean, he was a confused man, maybe he did.  But when I didn't believe her, she started feeding him arsenic. It took a while, but she killed him. I can't talk about it anymore..."

Edith began sobbing. Aster was relieved, and confused. She sat there for a minute and was going to go, but Edith stopped crying.

ALEXIS- "Plus, they know your grandmother."

[mwgaybachelor]

ALEXIS- "It's not that difficult for someone to find out your IP address and then figure out who you are. She probably even has access to your SIMSBOOK account. I really think you should see her. Tell her you want her to leave you be and put an end to this.  If not Aster, it will continue to bother you. You know how you obsess over things."

ASTER- "I know, but I haven't given any thought to this whole situation in years. I don't know Lexi if it is wise to meet her."

ALEXIS- "I can go with you."

ASTER- "How would we even get in to see her. That place is pretty secure. Just go in and say that I am her grand-daughter and request a visit?"

ALEXIS- "Probably, I mean you are her grand-daughter.  How about we just think on it. Go to the coffee shop and relax. You don't have to give her an answer right away."

ASTER- "She said she was dying..."

ALEXIS- "Probably just theatrics on her part to get you to come. Let's just chill tonight and we can think about it tomorrow."

ASTER- "Sounds good.  I am too upset to finish anymore research on this project anyway."

EDITH- "Well, it's obvious who killed my husband."

ASTER- "Not really. The reports said you poisoned him."

EDITH- "No, I told them, I poisoned him."

ASTER- "So he wasn't poisoned?"

EDITH- "Oh, yes, he was poisoned alright, but not by me."

ASTER- "If you didn't do then ...."

She stopped typing, there was no response from Edith either. Finally Aster typed a name.

ASTER- "ERIN?"

Edith logged out of the chat room.
