As a writer, I definitely struggle with creating and finding a decent thesis to really portray my ideas well. A thesis really needs to tell the reader what is going on, and offer a roadmap. If you are arguing something, not only will the thesis require a roadmap, but also argue your opinion and really state where you stand on the idea. After providing a proficient road map of a thesis, editing and proofreading your own writing and your peers is highly important. Throughly reading through is an efficient way to edit a draft, while looking at the content, structure, and clarity. The content within your draft must be highly informative, but also must be structured in a way that is very clear to your audience. After that, proofreading is done to look for errors such as grammar and spelling. Some of these errors can be very obvious, while others are hidden and require multiple readings to recognize. Although spellcheck can be helpful, it does not show everything, and sometimes you must separate out the text to really find errors that you and your peers made.
