Editorial Inspiration
Possible editorial illustrations for the Monocle magazine
Illustrations based on an article by Kevin Kelley, titled "Better Than Human: Why Robots Will — And Must — Take Our Jobs". I personally haven’t read the article but through the illustrations, the theme can be clearly understood. The way these illustrations are drawn is simple, well thought and the meaning can be immediately perceived. Another thing that I find appealing is the strong colour palette used. The colours chosen are contrasting, the tones of green and the orange ones look nice without resulting distracting. The spreads are connected and the reading is fluid.
