what are Eddie and Lacy's favourite attributes (physical or otherwise) that they like about the other?
a while ago I got into the physical stuff they like about each other but the OTHER stuff heyyy ohhhh it’s sappy sorry I took a lot of painkillers
Eddie’s favourite thing about Lacy is how completely focused and sharp she is. On one hand, he knows how much of herself she’s bargained away in order to fit in and scale the bullshit Hawkins social pyramid but on the other, he knows she had to do it because she won’t let anything get between the life that’s meant for her. Not even herself. But when you take those flimsy trappings away, when you knock a girl Eddie sees that it’s his job to make sure Lacy never feels that she has to compromise anything about herself ever again.
For Lacy, it’s Eddie’s boundless capacity for being entirely himself. You wouldn’t think it, him with all his dark satanic trappings but he’s so glowing and warm on the inside and it’s infectious. The way he has the power to draw Lacy out from behind all the masks simply by being obnoxiously authentic, completely and without boundaries, without fear. She used to resent him for it, for how much it got under her skin, but now she sees it for what it is. Bravery. Power. Of course it makes her feel a little inadequate sometimes, like she wasn’t made with that part that allows her to love with total unconditional freedom like he does, but she’s learning from him.
I could go on but we’d be here all night
slumped in a chair thousand yard stare thinking about eddie writing a song just like this for/about lacy and she straight up just smashing his guitar over his back animal house style
kissing your fucking boyfriend to death at the ren faire he dragged you to where you are pretending you’re not having the time of your life (you’re having the time of your life)
piccrew here
Just dropping this into your inbox x
I think about this maybe 40 times a week
she said that with her chest caught in 4K printed on the front page of the hawkins post the town crier town cried it
lacy doevski eddie munson lover confirmed
I wanna be in a throuple with Lacy and Eddie. I'm yearning severely over here
babe I can’t in good faith recommend this because they will make plans and forget to include you. Because they’re bitches
Powderrr,
what's Eddie and Lacy's favourite movies if I had to put you on the spot?
GUN TO MY HEAD???????
I’ve thought about this IN DETAIL before bc famously the Hawk is where Lacy and Eddie hang out a lot due to it being like, in the dark and there being some semblance of privacy, the kind of neutral ground between Forest Hills and Hawkins High where they can just exist in the middle of the third row from the back (if they don’t get the middle of the third row from the back, Lacy gets PISST OFF) (often times also they will just go see whatever’s playing and talk all the way through it even though Lacy’s like that’s bad theatre etiquette… and Eddie’s like what the fuck are you talking about girl we’re the only ones in here)
anyway. Without further ado because I could talk about that all day
off the DOME, Lacy’s top picks are The Red Shoes (1948), Paper Moon (1973), All About Eve (1950), The Women (1939) and Dracula’s Daughter (1936)
then for Eddie, I’m going to move consciously away from the old reliables (your Star Wars, your princess bride because of course he loves them) and go right to Excalibur (1981), Heavy Metal (1981), The Last Unicorn (1982) (shoutout @somnambulic-thing… you get me here), The Wicker Man (1973) and This Is Spinal Tap (1984)
now, the movies Eddie and Lacy have seen at the Hawk TOGETHER? Whole other list. They really were like dumbass Siskel and Ebert in there for a minute. They really think people care what they have to say. Get them a weekly in the Hawkins Post about it
cannot stop thinking about Lacy getting belligerent drunk and using the wizard rizz voice on Eddie
