Study grind commencing now featuring my background photo of Jupiter and my movie soundtracks playlist
A cozy little corner of my new dorm room. Here's to a good year
The only bad part about studying in the library is being surrounded by books you can't read
I like the studious & classy vibe of your blog! :D And I'm wondering why you want to be a teacher? It seems to be something you really want to be. ^^
First off, thank you, that means a lot!
Iāve always loved working and interacting with kids ever since I was in middle school. I also love people, and knew I would want to do a job where I can constantly work with and help others. And I have always (relatively) enjoyed school and love learning new things. Teaching allows me to combine all three of those passions in a unique way that betters society and allows me to directly impact the next generation! I will also have the opportunity to help kids learn at their individual level in a system that can be very non-individualistic in itās approach to education. Itās a lot of work, but it will be soooo worth it and Iām so excited to have my own classroom in a few years!!!
3.16.18 Day 3/56
Aside from two 2.5 hour long classes today I got this layout done. Who would have thought there were so many factors to consider in desk arrangements?Ā
I wasnāt as productive as I would have liked to be today, I was slowed down by an anxiety attack and needed to take some time for myself...only that combined with being by myself to do homework ended up being too much time alone and I probably annoyed my more introverted roomie to death when she returned xD (donāt worry sheās used to me by now)
3.15.18 Day 2/56
Getting back into it with some reading for my online class: Classroom Assessment, Environment, and Behavioral Management. Yeah itās a mouthful. Took these notes on my Surface Book in tablet mode on one note, please excuse my handwriting itās been awhile since Iāve done this! Hopefully in a few days it will be back up to par.Ā
So excited for my other ed class this quarter tomorrow where Iāll be working one on one with a 3rd grade EL student :D
3.14.18 Day 1/56
Yup, thereās 56 days left in this semester. And with my school being on a quarter system, this means reading syllabi and scheduling like crazy. With this system, Iām taking 3 intensified 8-week courses instead of 5 or more semester long courses. But Iām back in my cozy dorm room and ready to take on this last quarter, even if it meant turning in my first assignment tonight.
Hi world, new blogger here. Iām excited to begin sharing bits and pieces of my life with whoever stumbles across my blog. As an Education major, I expect to share snapshots of college life, interactions with students, and whatever nerdy wonders I come across. Also Iām a sucker for sunsets, so expect a few of those.
P.S. I also have a new langblr! @ticklemytonguelangblr
