HERMIONE GRANGER: Do people ever underestimate you because of who you are? 

“Once or twice, I’m sure. I was never as outspoken as Bellatrix, or as poised as Narcissa.” People had underestimated Andromeda when she was younger, viewing her as a typical middle child who would blindly follow behind her family and do as she was supposed to. No one ever thought she would actually dare to speak out against her family, marry a muggleborn and build something on her own. But she had. “Though I’d hope they learn their lesson after the fact rather than repeating their same mistakes.” She did hope those same people are still repeating their mistakes though. Believing her act: a returning, apologetic daughter with her tail tucked between her legs, admitting to her past mistakes and making amends.

It had to be Edgar who showed her because Emma wouldn’t know something so muggle. It was called Chubby Bunny and it consisted of stuffing as many marshmallows in ones cheeks as possible then try and say, “chubby bunny”.

Edgar and her were drinking friends, he was the “fun” that she had in the order and this night was really fun. They drank and they had stumbled into a grocery store, a muggle one and Emma kept asking about the exchange rate between muggle and normal currency to Edgar who really had no idea. Edgar GASPED when he found the marshmallows and asked Emma if she trusted him, which got him a hesitant yes? He said good, bought the marshmallows and they found themselves outside as Edgar explained the rules to this ridiculous game. Emma hates sugary things that aren’t Sugar Quills but even she had to admit that it was fun.

6. what is your character reluctant to tell people?

“I would like to think that I tell people everything I want to but when you’re a pureblood female, it gets a bit more complicated.” 

“You exist in this place where you’re scary to some, an object to others and invisible to a bunch more unless you’re out of line and then that’s all they see.

I wish that everyone could see me how I was and sometimes I wish I was allowed to yell and scream and cry without the other person losing respect for me but I don’t think that will ever be the case. I’m reluctant to let people know about… me, I guess. About how I’m feeling because no one would take me seriously. I can’t tell Alecto that I think the death eaters are doing everything wrong, I can’t tell Meda that I think she should go back to her family and forgo this notion of love because it only hurts i would know.  I probably tell James the most because he doesn’t think of me as an object or as scary and he knows how conflicted I feel about tradition and family and this war but there is still a good chunk that I don’t tell him like how I fit into the death eaters better then any of the other order members and that scares me or that I’ve fancied him since fifth year. It’s kind of sad not talking to people about how you feel but I guess that’s what I get for being involved in a war where I’m not allowed to trust anyone but everyone has to trust me.”
