Sitting By The Hinomi Yagura

Behind the Hinomi Yagura (fire watch tower) in a little corner of its own was a fairly big seating and eating area in “Edo Town” this was on of two main seating areas (that I saw) and I loved seeing how relaxed people were, this is a theme park that does get busy and this was a rare moment for others to chill and eat, its a busy but peaceful scene helped by the lantern lighting and  traditional Japanese buildings.

Surounding The Hinomi Yagura

It is a bit odd that even in a place were you walk around in yukata’s in such a  visually lovely and traditional looking area being “Edo Town” in the Ōedo-onsen Monogatari, that people are on their phones, but I’m not faulting anyone, thats just how life is and it creates a interesting contrast within this photo, as I managed to capture a lot of things that make this place stand out such as the Cherry blossom and even more lanterns, a traditional setting with modern aspects that can be seen on people, a lovely yet strange sight if you think about it.
