#my art#my ocs#still waters#bria#raphael#been a LONG MINUTE since ive been able to draw for myself and longer still since i finished anything!!! happy 2 break the streak w these two#my sweeties... whenever i need an easy Back In The Swing Of Things Sketch theyre always there for me#gold cross by ethel cain is one of THEEE bria songs ever... i listen 2 it all the time when im drawing them#raphael one of the only people ever to know what happened to her!!! and she didnt even get a say in him finding out!!!#hes good about it though despite everything else they put each other through thats one thing where theyre both THERE for each other#you dont get to preach if you dont know how it feels!!! and raphael knows EXACTLY how it felt for bria since he lived through a lot of it#from her POV. which SUCKS for everyone involved but also. the relief of someone Knowing without you having to Tell Them... yeah.#thought about deleting all this chatter but im leaving it for posteritys sake. im being BRAVE#i dont often talk about the more fraught aspects of a lot of my characters stories but. its not a bad thing to talk about#in fact its good to have frank conversations about that sort of thing... ive had several irl recently and it was Meaningful.#little bit heavy in the tags today wow!!! but in a positive way i think. hopefully...#i just love these characters a lot. they are very special to me#re: the lyric excerpt. raphael is the first line and bria is the second 💔
