Xmas items game- I don't really celebrate Christmas, but an organization I work with offers Christmas gifts to everyone in the program, and I've asked them for a new pair of leather boots and/or beard care supplies! (which are both things that I actually need for myself but also feel very in-character of me xD)

I was just hit with a very vivid memory of Jack and I falling asleep together in a shitty inn while on shore leave one time. We were still pretty young then, and it was just the two of us, smoking and chatting until we passed out holding each other. We never talked about that last part afterwards.

I'm really glad that Stede and I got to be each other's first real boyfriends, but sometimes I feel like maybe Jack and I could've been something if we'd been in a place where it was safe to express any emotions. Nothing I could've done about it though, I guess

LGBTQ+ canons!!!!

For Ed Teach: I genuinely don't know what the fuck was going on with my gender. I think if I had modern labels back then, I would probably have been some form of nonbinary? Maybe more on the transfem side? I have no idea. Either way, I was really only into men.

As Izzy Hands, I was a trans man. Managed to somehow get top surgery, but I was as steath as possible. No one knew anything about it except for my captain and eventually Roach. I was only into men, too, but I never really. Explored that.

As Karkat, I was also trans? But technicaly cis because troll genders are fucked and weird so. Yeah. I could be considered pan, that was generally the default for trolls.

As Cronus, I was as cis as trolls could be, also pan.

As Sally Face, bisexual and nonbinary.

Most of my kins were trans/nonbinary, and I think that's rad tbh.

I want to be angry at Izzy so fucking bad, but I can't bring myself to be. Instead I just find myself hoping that wherever he is now, he's happy. I wish I could've seen him happy for just a little bit longer.

I bought one of those cute fucking rosy maple moth plushies with the cute big eyes because it reminded me of Stede and now I haven't been able to sleep without it next to me for two entire weeks. This is less a confession and more just me whining but fuck mate, I miss my boyfriend so fucking much right now

Part of me wishes I would've had the chance to meet Stede's children. He didn't talk about his past very often, but he always spoke so fondly about his kids. I think they might've been the only thing he missed from his old life.

I know there really wasn't any way for it to have happened. He couldn't go back to Barbados and it would've been dangerous for them to have visited us. But still, I think it would've been nice for him to get to see them again, and I think I might've enjoyed getting the chance to act like a father, even just for a little while
