Made Cosima some sensory bottles! I had such fun making them and found choosing what to put in each one, very relaxing. Several of them rattle, each with a different noise, the others are more visual and are better held in front of the baby and moved about so the light catches them.
From left to right:
-silver glitter, purple pom-poms and googly eyes 👀
-pink feathers and buttons
-PVA glue and multi coloured plastic beads (the glue makes them gloop around, lovely to play with!)
-PVA glue and iridescent blossom sequins (my favourite, you have to move the bottle about a lot to spread the sequins through the glue in the bottle evenly and it’s really satisfying!)
-water, Ecover washing up liquid, blue food colouring, blue glitter and iridescent transparent plastic beads (the beads rattle a little in the bottle and catch the light along with the glitter if you hold them up in front of a window)
-water, Ecover washing up liquid, red food colouring, red glitter and iridescent transparent plastic beads (I thought these would be good for learning colours)
-colourful wooden beads (loud rattle!)
-bright orange and yellow pom-poms of different sizes with short lengths of pipe cleaners in the same colours (bright colours and nice and light for her to hold and rattle about herself)
Cosima loves them and so do I.
