I warn you, the first sentence is wrong. I won't beat about the bush: the meaning of the first sentence is beyond my reach, so much that I actually thought about not posting and typesetting the thing because it got on my nerves (but then I thought that maybe you'd like to see the rest). ~Long rant about the first sentence ahead~

The sentence that troubled me was 忍刀の一角 (reading: shinobigatana no ikkaku). I translated it with "part of the ninja sword", and it makes no sense, because the word next to it clearly refers to Jinin ('who wields the Helmet Splitter'). It's even more troublesome than it seems, because of that damn 一角: ikkaku can mean 1) one corner, section, point, angle (and not 'part' as I put it); 2) one horn; 3) narwhal (I bet we can exclude this one).

In which sense can Jinin be one tip of a ninja sword? (Like, he's metaphorically part of his own sword?) (It would make more sense if the sentence was about the Helmet Splitter, but it's not the case)

What's worse, I couldn't find any result for the word ikkaku related to swords (as if using it in relation to swords was weird).

I even considered other options, like maybe that shinobigatana is just short for Shinobigatana Shichinin Shū (Seven Swordsmen, literally 'the group of seven people of the ninja swords'), and it would make almost sense if the reading of 一角 was hitokado (so it would become 'a full fledged member of the seven swordsmen). But this is just a very outstretched explanation I made up.

So I give up: I admit I just can't understand that part. My apologises.

Seeing the work you've done, it surprises me how many things from the first databook were left untranslated. Could you translate Neji and Zabuza's profiles from said databook please?

Uhm, actually I can’t post what’s not mine, namely the second databook and the third databook profiles. The fourth databook’s one is here, and the first databook’s entry has not been translated yet, so I’ll post it as soon as I finished it.
