“I can appreciate your-- directness,” Aidan gestured as he spoke, his tone raspy enough to make Marlon Brando cringe.
He didn’t budge. He only shrugged at Edward’s obvious sarcasm before giving a soft chuckle. “Product’s just been flying off the shelves. Clearly,” he replied, nodding to the empty spots that peppered the displays. It wasn’t completely false. His evening gaming events had been pretty solid so far and for only being a month into his grand opening, he saw that as a pretty big accomplishment. He even had a few regulars but his client base? It was small in a town like this. Aidan knew that going in. The potential it had though? With the right PR and marketing? It could be huge.
“Free product may equal free pr, but doesn’t guarantee dinner on the table,” Pushing off the counter, Aidan turned to grab a sticky note and pen, “Yes, there are plenty of shops, but I know for a fact there are none like mine and under the right conditions, I could open up a new world for your students. That is-- if you can help me, help you”
