Long time no Alby :’) I ship them so muuuch. In case you wanna know more about them, just send me an ask or a DM, but here’s their story briefly: they got to know each other already at school, but were never particularly close as kids/teenagers. When Ruby’s arm had to get amputated after an incident during her military training, Alan was a newly graduated automail mechanic and he managed to convince Ruby to hire him as her automail designer. They slowly befriended but due to Alan having a crush on someone else around that time, it didn’t become anything more until several years later. Ruby had to be patient, but Alan made up for it by being the most dedicated boyfriend he could be in the end. Alan also constantly tried to convince her that he did not care that she had an automail, if anything, it probably made him love her even more.
Mother and daughter. On the left we have Winry in a nut pattered dress (bc she would wear that), and on the right we have Emma Rockbell-Elric as a teenager. Despite looking soft she is far from one, having inherited a lot of her father’s traits. She also has piercings (and hidden tattoos), and Ed thinks he has the coolest daughter ever.
