Edwin H. Knopf (1899) is another exec who wore several hats. He was an actor, wrote lyrics for a soundtrack song, was a script supervisor, a screenwriter, a director, and a producer. He served in that latter category on Ginny's I'LL WAIT FOR YOU (1941). Prior to Hollywood, he was an editor at his brother Alfred Knopf's publishing house. Some of his bigger productions include MR. IMPERIUM, LILI, SCANDAL AT SCOURIE, and CYNTHIA the reworked version (starring Elizabeth Taylor) of Ginny's Broadway play, THE RICH FULL LIFE.
