Just finished writing an official chapter for my story that's been in the works for over a year now, that's crazy. I get to say that i'm writing a book. That's. What.

#it'll technically end up being like chapter 3 or 4 but thats neither here nor there #eeeehehehehehe #artist writer combo look the fuck out #look out for me. i'll probably need it #i'll be lost deep in the creative pits byeee #my plan is to eventually illustrate some of the moments in the story and put them into the book like i've seen a few other writer/artists do #cuz that shit slaps so fucking hard and if i have the opportunity to do so as well then i would be a fool not to #very excited for this fairytale horror adventure romance book to come to life #i already know this is gonna be at least a 2 book story too so that's fun :3

This is my to-do list every time I format a new chapter with these ridiculous workskins. I'm sorely tempted to compile my resources into one post at the end of this thing in case anyone's curious about what I used to build it, in case they want to use some of those same skins in their own project. (Some of the styles I had to write myself, but they're the lesser things like link colours and spans to affect the typography.)

The first chapter took fifteen hours (over two days) to get the styles correct and a workflow in place. The second chapter dropped to five hours. The third four. I didn't time myself for the fourth.

I'm in chapter five now doing my re-read, and I'd forgotten that this is one of my favourites: this is where we unlock the freak shit because, per normal structural rules, the midpoint is the turn.

I'm so excited.

Anyway. Back to work, but see you Friday when it drops. 😊
