5. Which WIP is first on your list to complete this year? Will you post a snippet?
I answered this on my main page too so I am copying it here. :D
The 12.16 series is always going to be on my list to add and post more on. However, the ABSOLUTE number 1 story that I want to finish is “No Expectations” AKA the Meet the Parents fic. I started writing it in 2019 and then 12.16 took over. lol So, without a doubt I want to get that one done ASAP.
Snippet: “No Expectations”
“Now are you nervous?” she grinned.
He seemed a little pale in the afternoon light and if he were feeling anything like she was then butterflies were filling his stomach. Of course he would never let her know that though.
“Nope, I’m great. How do I look?” he asked, running a hand through his newly shortened hair.
“Like you’re contemplating running away,” she joked purposefully ignoring his features.
“And you were worried about MY behavior on this trip. You are positively hateful today, Pep.”
She said nothing but brought her hands up to rest on either side of his cheeks. Tony leaned into the touch and nuzzled her palms gently. “Hey. Stop worrying. Everything is going to be fine.”
He sighed gently and closed his eyes beneath her touch. “Worried? Who’s worried?”
“Relax,” she whispered to him again and pulled his lips to meet hers in a kiss, soft and warm. He could feel some of the anxiousness began to ebb and he swore that Pepper’s kisses were literally magic. They almost always had the ability to make him forget everything going on around them. He deepened the kiss in response, arms snaking their way around her waist to pull her closer to him.
“Ahem…” a voice cleared loudly from somewhere off to the side and Tony’s eyes shot open, shocked at just how quickly he could forget his surroundings as his body jumped back from Pepper’s as if he had just been burned.
Standing in the now open doorway were Pepper’s parents.
A nervous laugh escaped Tony's lips as his mind went blank and his words faltered in his throat. Of all the ways that this first meeting had played out in his mind he never anticipated screwing up out of the gate this bad. Out of ideas, Tony did what he always did in times of crisis. He smiled and looked to Pepper to save him.
15. Do you foresee any personal or professional obstacles this year, that would keep you from creating fanworks?
Well, I just quit my job. lmao That was a pretty big obstacle cause that place was so awful and toxic so I’m glad to be rid of it. lol Um aside from that, just whatever normal factors. I have 3 kids that are 8,7, and 2 so they are all tiny terrors that can interfere. lol But other than that, I am taking this time off of work specifically to work on writing as well. SO! That is the plan! I hope to make so much content for ya’ll!
