i really wanted to Contribute to thanksgiving this year but i absolutely do not have the emotional energy or even time to cook AND as of next monday i’m officially the ops manager at my office with a SALARY so i can actually afford to Show Up in a way that’s meaningful to me
also i took a really luxurious pic of my haul and posted it on instagram which was weird because i kind of stopped expressing myself like that a while back and i think it makes me happy? to connect with people and to really share myself freely rather than be constantly operating on autopilot. i’m in therapy as of almost a year now and my brain has advanced so much and i feel like i’m waking up from The Trauma and really evolving into the person that i want to be which is exciting and scary and a lot of work and hugely worth it!!!
