33: what's your fave pastry? 

Ah jeez, uh, if I had to choose one I’d probably choose those small little tarts with the glazed fruit on top. those things are dope.

34: tell us about the stuffed animal you kept as a kid. what is it called? what does it look like? do you still keep it? 

Oh man, I had quite a few, but my favorite was this small little white and brown rabbit that I named Scooby. We would go on adventures n shit. And as of today, he’s still living a chill life on my upper shelf in my closet. I still see him every time I open it up :)

44: when was the last time you remember feeling completely serene and at peace with everything? 

Okay, hmm... I mean, most of the time I’m usually pretty calm, but “completely serene”? I might have to say about two years ago? Maybe just one year ago..? I can’t exactly pinpoint when, but everything was just going so smoothly for me and I had nothing to worry about. I was in the best place I had ever been in my life.

50: what's an odd thing you collect? 

I don’t think I have any real collections anymore. I used to collect pokemon cards because dude why not. never played the game, but i sure as hell did collect em. Then in like, 9th grade, I had a thing for this specific type of pen called the Pilot G2 07. idk why I chose pens, but I started collecting all the different colors that they sold. I would get pretty upset if I ended up losing any of them as well :/

Oh jeez, I don’t know if any of my interests count as obscure. I think that a lot of the things that I am interested in, a lot of other people are interested in as well. I mean, it’s hard to find things that I feel like make me stand out. I collect coins from different countries, if that counts. I’m really just interested in a lot of different things.

I'm sorry about the Kumoricon thing. I wish it were fixed. This decision will cost them a lot of talented artists, such as yourself. It makes me sad to hear you won't be attending, but I totally support your decision. If things change, I hope to see you there! I love your art from last year! Thanks a bunch!

Aww thanks <3!!!Yeah like I said, I really dislike outdoor vending due to wind, since my display will pretty much become a sail for it. I did an event last year while it was just a bit windy and it was a total nightmare :/I’m still going to go to Sakura-Con and maybe some other cons in Washington, so hopefully you’ll see me around again :)!

What's Tokyo ghoul?

uh, do you want me to actually explain it? idk how to without spoilers so i’ll just paste the synopsis + my own two cents as far as recommending it goes

The suspense horror/dark fantasy story is set in Tokyo, which is haunted by mysterious “ghouls” who are devouring humans. People are gripped by the fear of these ghouls whose identities are masked in mystery. An ordinary college student named Kaneki Ken encounters Rize, a girl who is an avid reader like him, at the café he frequents. Little does he realize that his fate will change overnight.

so season 2 (called tokyo ghoul root a) is now airing, except it apparently follows a different plot line than the manga. i haven’t read the manga and some people say it’s better, but i definitely feel the anime is entirely respectable on its own. it’s paced well, characters are great (especially the out-of-wack ones) and the plot, while not the most original story in the book, is still really nicely done. the animation is pretty solid and the ending art is to die for. 

but yeah i definitely recommend it if you have the time. i wouldn’t worry about extreme gore or anything more than off-screen torture.
