The average lifespan of lions in the wild is 10-14 years There's no way he's younger than Steven Lion being revived a bit before Steven's birth is not impossible but pretty implausible seeing as trips to the desert are not recommended while pregnant. Rose doing some last minute running around in the desert seems pretty unlikely Though Lion could be nearing his twenties since that's pretty average for lions in captivity is about doubled It's also possible that Lion is hundreds of years old since Rose was seen surrounded by lions in the episode "Buddy's Book" He could have died of old age shortly after that and been revived by Rose, meaning that Lion has been around for a really long time And that the ageing process has stopped, or at least slowed considerably. What would this mean for Lars though? If Lion has been around that long and Lars has at least some of his powers then maybe Lars ages Really Slowly now Maybe he doesn't age at all
