PARROT WAXCAP!!!!
This is another one of my earlier illustrations!
These guys are often found growing near or on mossy areas in woodland areas of North America. They're pretty small! About 5-25mm diameter at the cap and when they're young they look bright greenish-yellow! They're very slimy.

I made this a couple years ago for an ichthyology course I took. I'm a huge fan of mobulids and their super interesting feeding patterns (definitely recommend finding youtube videos of it)
I made this in illustrator, and it's my first digital science illustration. I think I like doing traditional illustration more.
