fuck fuck fuck
Okay, anyone else freak the fuck out when the evil witch shows her face in the window while Snow White is making a pie in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs?? God it makes my anxiety skyrocket! Her head tilt, the eerie music, and the fact that she’s looking right at you, eyes wide open. I get this horrible feeling when seeing stuff like that. Another is E.T.! Pretty much whenever E.T.’s face is shown. But especially the garden scene in the dark! The music alone makes me want to scream! And when it shows his face, AND HE LOOKS RIGHT AT YOU, EYES WIDE OPEN. ALL NON-HUMAN AND SHIT. Both of these are two of my favorite movies, but they also give me one of the worst feelings in the world!
my co-worker just told us that once their lights were flickering all day, and there was nothing wrong in other parts of the house, just at their place
in my experience this doesn't mean anything good
So today I had to pick up my Dollars for Scholars check. The sponsor for DFS works at a local funeral home, so I drove into town. I opened the door, and sauntered in, no problem. I realized as I walked past the multiple viewing rooms, all empty with the lights off, with the calming yet unsettling muzak playing over the loudspeakers, looking for this guy's office. He came down to meet me, and it turned out that between him and I, we may have been the only people in this huge funeral home. And it gave me the creeps. Dear Lord, I was so glad to be out of there, I can tell you.
TL;DR: The only thing more eerie than a funeral home is an empty funeral home.
The bravery of Vandino and Ugolino Vivaldi
These were two Genoese brothers who, in 1291 sailed west through the Strait of Gibraltar in search of India. Their fate remains unknown.
Theirs was the first known attempt of Europeans to cross the Atlantic Ocean since the Vikings.
I wonder if they died peacefully.
