Mermay is one of these little cute themed challenges every year and I somehow ended up sketching a bunch of my sea themed OCs before noticing I would finish them in May and then decided later on to make more Merfolk art <3

Nachti in his merman & human form, Eeske and Euphemia.

There might be a second part as I made even more sketches.

tbh I only started with them as I had no option to store the dye I was using for another project. I still haven’t figured out the final design, my head is ... full of other things.

WiP - Eeske (Doll Chateau Beacher)

lil’ colorful Hermit crab, with a peak of her in her display cube, she shares the space with Hanke.

Details (what I did with her):

Dyed body

Coral mods (apoxy)

Full body blush

Sidecut with real beach sand & bio nylon fibre

Eeske got her sea debut. I just recently got her and she is quite new. Eeske is a hermit crab and lives within the same tribe as the majority of my other sea themed OCs. She collects little things she finds but is protective in regards of her own shell and fights off other hermit crabs.

Eeske is lives among the same tribe as Tjark’s family, they had been friends since eons. Thanks to him she was able to get a net to secure her shell, as other hermit crabs always tried to steal it.
