Boxopening - Dark World Researcher HeiZe Head

... i did not forget to announce this I didn't get a shipping notice for this head, only the information last month that they will arrive at Space Studio soon but okay. While I still battle UPS for my poor Xaga Boy fate blessed me with the pressure of having this head arriving and I didn't do a single thing for the body yet.

I just came home from a trip and unboxed him I hope to have some progress till i leave for vacation on wednesday, we will see.

I somehow got the name wrong the other times it's not "The Bad World Researcher" it's "Dark World Researcher" :)

The mouth pieces are ... kittens.

Aaaand here is the head he's incredible cute TwT way cuter than I thought.

He will do such a great job as Orgel but I am so not mentally prepared to have him as full doll rn.

Doll Character Collection - Pt 8

Seymour Treat

Seymour is actually another variant of Samuel as Pierre used his soul to create the little spider. He's only active around Halloween and a true scaredy cat, he's afraid of his own shadow. It doesn't help that people are afraif of him because of him being partially a spider.

Danielle Trick

Danielle was created from Delilah's soul, or: her wrath. That's why Danielle is the polar opposite of Seymour, she's self confident and loves to make fun of people, praking or fooling everyone and laughing her butt off afterwards. She is a dward and not tall but her ego makes up for that.

Odelios

Odelios is a fortune teller, he's bound to a carousel. He's a carousel horse/disguised as one. He had an earlier form named Odelia, but she was killed by Oisín during a failed deal and couldn't escape her in the end. Pierre still saved her soul and used her soul to bring the initial idea back.

Juniper Eve

As the sprout of the original Jack o Lantern Juniper is the oldest member of the Eve-Family or: the Pumpkin Patch. She gave her title of being the head of the family to a younger member though. She likes to have tea in the garden with other members of the family.

Samu

I know it seems a bit weird that a form of Samuel only appears now but to be honest I had shelled him and reshelled him in 2015 therefore his normal doll form will get its portrait later on. Samu is an AU variant of Samuel in which the storyline explores the branch "what if his step mother actually cared about him", he turns out to be the Vice Ringmaster later on. But gets too popular that she soils his beautiful appareance. It's rumored he plots to get rid of her ...

Willow o Wisp (Wilhelmina Muse)

My queen of Will o Wisp. She once was a human called Wilhelmina (or "Mina") but drowned in a swamp. Her future husband tries to rescue her but failed. He found the flame of her soul and took a part to create a "child" for him to love. Little did he know what creature he had cooked. And Willow starts to search for the remains of her flame, finding a lot of lost souls to love along the way.

WiP - Refreshing Dolls - Apocryphos

Sometimes you just need a break from projects even when there are so many things to do you just ... want tiny things that aren't as intense as everything you have on your plate. Today was such a day and I decided to refresh Apocryphos a bit.

First I enhanced his necklace by swapping the regular thread for golden thread and add pearls to it.

Here you can see it adds more depth to him.

Then I went and gave him new glasses, this pair was a replacement for a doll that had glasses but I needed the glasses for another doll and in the end I was finally able to get a pair of the OG glasses again and these were leftover.

The glasses I made for him are okay-ish but nothing I truly liked. These have a good size for him I had to cut off the pieces a bit and glue them in place but I guess it's fine as I don't really remove it.

And as I was at that I restyled the twirl of his hair. His wig is in general a bit imperfect and not to my liking but I feel this was a needed restyle.

And here he is in the display being the creep he is with the poor pastAllen.

WiP - Alastor - new Glasses

I know I haven't taken many photos of my human!Alastor doll but the main reason is actually that I didn't like his glasses. After working on Cross I had learned a few new techniques and found a better material so here we go with another attempt.

Here you can see the ... I think 3rd? Pair i made for him. Still quite bulky and I think you get why i don't like them.

It took me two more attempts to get a good base shape cut from the pvc.

Testing and painting.

First test on the doll as you can see they are not evenly painted, I corrected the shape of the one glass after those photos.

And here we are. Still far away from what wire glasses would look like but better than before.

My Xagadoll Ole was shipped and ... it's UPS .. so we will see how fast he is. I just hope he will arrive in time before my vacation next week, please.

Burgfest Bad Bodenteich - Walpurgisnacht 2026

Still one of my very favorite events I am looking forward to the whole year. I just love the overall vibe of this festival and the perfomers are enriching it by a lot. Have some impressions, I barely was able to capture the amazement I felt but I tried.

Twinning - pt 4

... did I bring a doll for each of my cosplays? Maybe. I do have in fact a lot of dolls that match my cosplays. And little Allen is one of my favorites among the dolls. The cosplay is also very comfortable but sadly it was way too hot to wear it for longer.

Head Canon that Lucia can and does sing a lot outside the spell related song she he uses to heal Allen. It was a coincidence but we found a bunch of old song books at the fair and it felt so in character.

Doll Character Collection - Pt 7

Another set of characters from series I recreated as fandolls. This set took me a while to get complete as I focused on own characters for a very long time and as I draw them by arrival date... it took me some to get to the fan ones. And then I decided to split this post once again as I had one lonely fandoll among the OCs and it took me several weeks to get to him :')

Kaneki

Before I yap on how much I love the character the doll's head was a gift from my Mom for graduation. Kaneki is by far my favorite SD sized doll in my collection. I went so wild with him, i recreated to many scenes, outfits, tellings, from the Manga. He means so much to me. As Tokyo Ghoul in general. I am so glad I am able to have him as a doll.

Furu-chan (Furuta)

This doll is also very special to me, I won the head in a photography contest by Peakswoods. I wasn't sure which character the head will become but then Furuta somehow hit me so hard I had to recreate him in a doll. In a very silly way, the way he truly was.

WiP - Road - White Dress

I know, I know. I have been pushing this back for like ... the time I own this doll. The shoes were intended for this outfit and I got them even before I got the doll. But Ch 258 pushed me over the edge as I like to give the dolls their current outfit and the dress was overdue.

To admit it: I kinda eyeballed everything. I worked on Road the week I finished Cross and I was kinda saturated in regards of precise sewing, I wanted some freedom.

So for the bloomers no pattern, but as you can see they still turned out.

Socks were also quite eyeballed but that was the easy part the dress would be a different challenge.

I started with the top piece which needed lining and the main bodice, the challenge here is ... the doll is flat and the cut is made to cup breasts. But there are none. I stuffed the piece a bit to have at least somewhat of a curve but I knew I had to adjust more during the process.

As I added the skirt I tried to make 'cups' with adjusting the front and the back before I added the ribbon that is around her shoulders and arms.

For the skirt I decided to add wire to it, the difference is immense as you can see. The dress is overall quite gravity defiying and to figure that out is always an adventure.

For the ribbon I was only able to get a light purple but I will keep my eyes open and will replace it with a darker one later on.

Adding last details. I somehow forgot the whole ribbon is also around Road's neck, and I finally added closure as I totally forgot it as I added the wire and thought I was about to be done.

Final step was adding the pompoms to the shoes.

But here she is. I will post the rest of the photos seperately as I worked a bit further on her ...

... and finally added closure hooks to her other canon outfit. I know I was in a bad mental state as I made it but I kinda forgot the fact I literally had sewn her into the outfit, therefore I had to open up some seams. To avoid this I finally added hooks to be able to redress her more easily.

To be honest it feels good to have revisted her to correct all this what I just didn't have any spoons left for back in the day.

WiP - Qifrey - Sylph Shoes

As I made my Qifrey Cosplay two years ago i had considered to mod the shoes to have the signils but never came to it... time to change that.

As you can see I got out my references I used for doll Qifrey and sketched down everything with a chalk marker on the soles.

The soles aren't even but I still hoped that it would turn out fine.

Please do such crafts in a well ventilated area and with a protective mask, i have one due my doll related crafts and sat on the terrace to do it.

I tried the simple circles first and it seemed to work nicely.

Therefore I continued. After one go i lined them again to deepen the signils. One shoe turned out a bit better than the other and I think the overlapping material will most likely get loose once I walk with them again.

But I sanded them a bit just to make sure. They do align in some spots if hold correctly, not perfect but we don't want random magic to manifest, do we?

To enhance them a bit more I painted the spell to look activated. How long this will last .. time will tell.
