Started here (having blended 10 oz/280 g of various fibers, with help from chuck)

Currently here ! Halfway done, or thereabouts. 4 batts left to spin, and then ill have 2 plies done.

I started carding some shetland moorit fleece to see if that would be an acceptable 3rd ply. Still undecided; if i want to spin enough of this to equal the yardage of that huge bobbin I probably need to spin it on the espinner...but it has a lot of vm even when I spent ages picking it out while carding, and stopping/starting kinda sucks when your pedal is faulty, which mine seems to be. So, maybe.

Still looking for the dark brown merino combing waste that I think would be a perfect 3rd ply. Idk where else to check, but i guess ive got around a week to find it bc I still have to spin the rest of those batts.

#spinning #espinner #eew 6.0 #the pedal works about 10% of the time if that #and sometimes stops but then immediately starts again multiple times in a row #SO ANNOYING. its done this the whole time but my patience has fully run out now #need to figure out a replacement ig #wool batt #also my plans have changed a bit...i now wanna see if i can make a sweater with it #idk idk it depends on how much yardage i end up with and the finished yarn weight #but im incentivized to make as much yarn as i can #especially because i prefer sweaters to be several sizes bigger than i am so were looking at a 2xl mens...#which may not be possible with the fiber ive got ! if nothing else its possible i could do ribbing/cuffs in shetland #tbh i could do stripes in shetland. if i get a better pedal that is -_-#cat #chuck

I love preparing wool for spinning, drafing the fibers and getting everything ready to be spun up. I've been absolutly in love with my new little Electric Eel Wheel, its an absolute workhorse of a machine!

I am absolutely in love with this braid and the beautiful delicious colors- pictures do not do it justice. I’ve had so much fun watching the colors change and fill up on the bobbin. And the fiber is so softttt

The braid is “Sugar Coated” in polwarth by Yarn Hero.
