she’s still pretty unsure, but so far she has a fairly good opinion. lizzie’s actually pretty aware that she can be needlessly bitchy and even cruel, so she appreciates any people that don’t take it to heart and fight fire with fire, because 99% of the time she doesn’t mean it and any words hurled back of her usually hurt. effie’s someone she’s started feeling pretty comfortable around pretty fast and the pleasant company makes some friendship prospects.

        he  enjoys  halloween  for  obvious  reasons  —  it’s  the  one night  a  year  it’s  considered  socially  acceptable  to  walk  around  covered  in  blood  and  no  one  even  bats  an  eye.  people  need  to  feel  safe,  feel  secure,  and  knowing  that  the  macabre  they’re  experiencing  isn’t  real  gives  them  that.   the  demon’s  dressed  in  a  red  pantsuit,  a  devil  mask  covering  his  eyes.  he’s  wearing  his  real  eyes  today  —  blood  red,  a  sign  of  the  crossroads  demon  …  or  to  anyone  unsuspecting,  the  most  realistic  looking colored contacts.   the  blood  that  litters  the  front  of  his  suit  jacket  is  real,  not  that  anyone  will  assume  as  much  on  the  evening  in  question. 

          he’s  going  to  this  party  because  the  boyfriend  had  insisted.  please,  he’d  begged.  i  think  it  could  be  fun  to  get  out,  see  our  friends.  dress  up.   it  was  hardly  v’s  idea  of  a  good  time  but  he’d  found  ways  to  turn  the  evening  around.  hence  the  blood.   he  arrives  late,  slips  in through  the  back  door  as  he  glances  around  the  room.   he  doesn’t  see  the  boyfriend  though  it  won’t  be  hard  to  find  him.  he’s  wearing  a  angel  costume,  he’ll  stick  out.     a  girl  swings  by  with  treats,  says  they’re  peanut  butter  balls.  or  peanut  butter  something.  he’s  stopped  listening  after  he  grabs  a  handful.   he  pops  one  into  his  mouth,  makes  a  face  when  he  spits  the  treat  out.  it’s  a  chocolate  covered  brussel  sprout.   he  decides  right  then  and  there  that  whoever  she  is,  he’s  going  to  make  her  pay.

 Up to now way too much, granted maybe it did all come from a good place. Josie believed if she could do something to push Lizzie into winning the merge and in turn rid them of their crazy Uncle Kai all would be right in the world. But she didn’t predict the dark magic or the way it would seep in and poison her from the very core. The trigger was murder, not for any reason but them getting in the way and then it just felt easier to push her emotions down than claim the guilt of that. (which she definitely will be suffering with).
